It’s been a minute since I’ve posted here on my blog, so it seems that adding an entry in the early days of Spring is perfect timing to get back into the groove.

While I haven’t been posting on my blog consistently, I have been able to spend some time in my craft room creating mostly cards, and some scrapbook layouts here and there. My craft room still needs to be organized, so I tend to go back and forth between the two. Sometimes taking a break in between “creating” is good for the crafting mojo!

I always think I am going to get ahead on my cards so that I have a stash of them, but for whatever reason, it never seems to work out that way. I made this card for a dear friend’s birthday earlier this month and I think it’s perfect for Spring with the butterflies.

Embossing folders have been around for awhile and I have quite a few in my collection, but I feel like I just recently discovered them. They are a wonderful addition to my projects and I find myself reaching for them as I come up with card designs. I love texture and dimension, so the embossing folders help to achieve those things.

I’m definitely all about the butterflies right now as I have created quite a few cards with them in the past couple weeks! They definitely work well for Spring cards and projects.
